Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Morgue Patrol in Thornton, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. You will respond to security-related situations, including assisting with restraint incidents and morgue-area access. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas. Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, access concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel, helping to deter unauthorized activity. Assist with access control, visitor guidance, and documentation of incidents and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccination requirements. Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue. Be able to restrain individuals as needed. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
