The company services a wide range of light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment and values employees who take pride in solving problems and doing the job right.The RoleThe Diesel Mechanic performs diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks and equipment ranging from light-duty to heavy-duty applications. This role works on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems and plays an important part in keeping customer vehicles operating safely and efficiently. This is primarily a shop-based position offering hands-on variety, steady work, and the opportunity to work alongside an experienced team in a collaborative environment.What You'll DoDiagnose and repair diesel engines and related mechanical systemsPerform preventative maintenance, inspections, and routine service workComplete bumper-to-bumper repairs on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehiclesTroubleshoot electrical systems and mechanical issuesPerform brake, clutch, drivetrain, and transmission repairsRemove and install differentials and related componentsMaintain accurate repair documentation and communicate repair progress with the teamKeep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized while following shop safety proceduresWhat We're Looking For Required QualificationsExperience performing diesel vehicle or equipment maintenance and repairsStrong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsExperience working with diesel engines and related systemsAbility to work independently and collaborate with a teamValid driver's license with a good driving recordStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize work and manage multiple repair tasks safely and efficientlyCommitment to quality workmanship and workplace safetyPreferred Qualifications2+ years of diesel mechanic experienceAssociate degree in Diesel Technology or related trainingExperience with electrical diagnostics and troubleshootingExperience working on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehiclesWhy This Role This role offers consistent hours, hands-on variety, and the opportunity to work on a wide range of equipment and vehicles.
