Social Services Director

Clewiston Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full time Director of Social Services. The Director of Social Services oversees the overall operation of the Resident and Family Services Department; organizes and plans Social Service Programs for residents and patients based on their individualized needs within the facility; coordinates activities with the community, outside facilities and agencies that can provide economic, psychological, and medical assistance; and helps the resident, patient, staff, and families with issues that impacts or prevents adjustment or any other aspect of the resident's quality of life. DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL SERVICES QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service Field. Master's in social work preferable.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate accurately and precisely to patients and family members
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred, not required
