Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department – Florida

Start Date: October 16, 2026

Location: Tallahassee, Florida

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (48 hours guaranteed); schedule posted 2 weeks in advance

Highlights:

• 39-bed Emergency Department with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Full-service acute care facility with specialized emergency services including Pediatric ER, Senior Care ER, and Express Care ER
• MediTech documentation system with modern equipment including Alaris Pumps, Dash bedside cardiac monitors, and Level One
• Perform critical procedures including chest tubes, moderate sedation, lumbar punctures, laceration repair, and blood product administration
• Minimal floating requirements during assignment period; supportive unit staffing with dedicated unit secretary and 2-3 techs per shift
• Travel nursing assignment with guaranteed hours

Requirements:

• Active Florida RN license or multi-state compact license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience with emergency lifesaving procedures and intubation assistance
• Strong multi-tasking abilities and patient throughput focus
• Team-oriented approach to patient care
