Nestled in a region known for its coastal beauty, lush mountain retreats, and close-knit community, this organization emphasizes transparency, collaborative care, and a healthy work-life balance.Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Gastroenterologist (MD or DO) who is Board Certified or Board Eligible. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to excellence in digestive health care. Location: Hilo, HIPosition Responsibilities:Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and liver biopsies to evaluate and treat gastrointestinal conditions.Conduct comprehensive assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, preferences, and medical history.Collaborate closely with healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up recommendations accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.Minimum Qualifications:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology.Valid medical license to practice in Hawaii (or eligibility for licensure).At least 3 years of experience as a gastroenterologist after completing gastroenterology fellowship program.SUNSHINE ENTERPRISE USA LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran disability or genetic information or any other reason prohibited by law in employment.
