Suchomel & Associates is seeking a licensed insurance sales professional who wants to build a business within our business. You will create new customer relationships, guide people through important coverage decisions, and own the customer experience from first contact through policy delivery and continued follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an active prospect pipeline across auto, home, renters, umbrella, life, and small commercial insurance, based on licensing and agency needs.

• Initiate daily outreach to prospective customers and follow up promptly on leads, referrals, internet inquiries, quote opportunities, and prior contacts.

• Develop referral relationships with customers, local businesses, community partners, and professional contacts.

• Plan weekly sales activity, protect prospecting time, track results, and adjust your approach when activity does not produce the expected outcome.

• Identify chances to expand relationships by reviewing household and business needs and discussing relevant coverage options.

• Work closely with the Agency Owner and service team to provide a consistent customer experience.

• Prepare accurate quotes and present coverage choices in clear language so customers can make informed decisions.

Requirements

**Candidate must obtain property and casualty license to be considered.

• Active Wisconsin Property and Casualty insurance license. (Ability to obtain within 60 days)

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Wisconsin Life and Health insurance license within the timeframe established by the agency, if not already held.

• Demonstrated comfort with outbound prospecting, sales goals, follow-up, and asking for the sale.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain insurance concepts clearly.

• Sound judgment, attention to detail, and reliable task management.

• Ability to use agency technology, customer management systems, email, phone, and virtual meeting tools.

• Ability to meet applicable background, appointment, licensing, and carrier eligibility requirements.

Preferred

• Active Wisconsin Life and Health insurance license.

• One or more years of insurance, financial services, business development, or relationship-based sales experience.

• Experience managing a sales pipeline and tracking activity against defined goals.

• Established ties to Sun Prairie or nearby communities.
