In this role, you'll act in a leadership capacity for the Fire Alarm Service Sales Team and be responsible for managing and developing service sales personnel, driving repair and monitoring growth, strengthening customer relationships, supporting key account management efforts, and ensuring identified service opportunities are effectively communicated, quoted, and converted into revenue.Strong communication skills are essential, as this role serves as a key link between customers, service personnel, administrative staff, and other Oliver departments. The Fire Alarm Service Sales Manager will report directly to the Fire Alarm Service Manager and work closely with service operations, administration, and customers to ensure consistent customer experience while supporting the continued growth and profitability of the department.**Leadership role supporting service sales growth, customer retention, and key account management.**## What You'll Be Doing* Lead, manage, and hold accountable the Fire Alarm Service Sales Team through coaching, mentoring, performance management, goal setting, and ongoing development.* Drive growth in repair sales, monitoring sales, and other service-related revenue opportunities through effective sales leadership and customer engagement.* Establish performance expectations and monitor sales activity, opportunity management, proposal follow-up, and overall sales performance.* Work closely with service technicians, service operations personnel, and administrative staff to ensure identified deficiencies and repair opportunities are communicated, quoted, and followed through to completion.* Assist with customer retention efforts by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting key account management activities.* Foster strong communication, collaboration, and professional working relationships between service sales personnel, service operations, administrative staff, customers, and other Oliver departments to ensure a consistent customer experience and successful execution of departmental objectives.* Support the resolution of customer concerns and escalated issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.* Conduct customer meetings, site visits, surveys, and presentations to identify opportunities, strengthen relationships, and support the sales process.* Assist sales personnel with complex repair opportunities, proposal strategy, and customer communications when needed.* Monitor sales pipeline activity and ensure opportunities are properly documented, tracked, and followed through within company systems.* Collaborate with department management to establish sales goals, growth initiatives, and strategic priorities for the department.* Maintain knowledge of current fire alarm technologies, applicable codes and standards, and industry best practices.* Promote a culture of professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and customer service throughout the department.## Qualifications## What We're Looking For### Required* High School Diploma or equivalent.* Minimum 5 years of experience in the fire alarm or related industry.* Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, service operations, and repair sales processes.* Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build positive working relationships across multiple departments, effectively lead personnel, and professionally represent the company to customers and business partners.* Strong presentation, negotiation, organizational, and relationship-building skills.* Ability to lead personnel, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.* Valid driver's license.* Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.### Preferred* Associate's Degree, Technical Degree, or Bachelor's Degree.* 10+ years of fire alarm industry experience.* Prior sales leadership, account management, or supervisory experience.* Experience with CRM, sales management, and business software platforms.## What We Offer* Competitive compensation based on experience, education, and certifications* Medical, dental, and vision insurance* Life and long-term disability insurance* 100% company-funded profit-sharing program* Professional development opportunities* Supportive team-oriented environment## Why OliverWe're proud of the culture we've built at Oliver.
