MRI Technologist Opportunity

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to support an acute care hospital in Cumming, GA. The MRI Technologist will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images for emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient populations. The department performs an average of 25-30 patients per day and provides 24-hour care to ED, inpatient, and outpatient patients.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in MRI.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an MRI Technologist within the specialty.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record.
• Experience performing Breast Biopsy exams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a hospital setting with ED, inpatient, and outpatient volumes.
• Experience on 720F MRI systems.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM as noted in order notes.
• Department provides care to ED, inpatients, and outpatients with average daily volume of 25-30 patients.
• Must be able to perform Breast Biopsy exams as needed.
• Minimum required recent experience in specialty: 2 years.
