Laundry Attendant

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the cleaning, laundering, and proper handling of guest linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel textiles, ensuring all items are laundered to high standards, contributing to overall guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

What You'll Get To Do:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel textiles
• Operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently, including washers, dryers, and pressing equipment
• Maintain proper handling of delicate or specialty fabrics according to guidelines
• Monitor and maintain laundry supplies such as detergents, chemicals, and linen inventory
• Ensure linens and uniforms are delivered to housekeeping and other departments promptly

Skills And Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
• Ability to operate laundry machinery and handle chemicals safely
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Ability to handle repetitive motions such as folding, sorting, and pressing
