Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting through our Telehealth facility, enabling counselors to provide crucial support from the comfort and safety of their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify and understand each client's unique challenges and co-occurring disorders.
• Develop and implement customized evidence-based treatment plans focused on addressing addiction, psychological resilience, and individual goals.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that target addiction issues, trauma, and associated mental health concerns, utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and adherence to recovery plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and addiction specialists, to deliver a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, coping strategies, and recovery principles, fostering a supportive network around them.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and compliant client records, adhering to legal and ethical standards of practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve adults grappling with addiction and varying degrees of co-occurring mental health conditions. Our client population is diverse, each with unique backgrounds, challenges, and recovery journeys. Your engagement will be instrumental in helping them build resilience and find sustainable pathways to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required for consideration.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential must be held prior to employment.
• At least three years of recent experience providing mental health support is mandated for applicants.

Preferred Experience

• Training or specialization in rehabilitation mental health techniques is highly desirable.
• Experience working within a telehealth framework or remote counseling settings can provide an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
