Direct Supervisor: System Operations Manager
Pay Range: $19 - $23 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

The Customer Account Representative (CAR) serves as a key liaison between customers, the sales team, and the service department. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple administrative and customer-facing responsibilities. The CAR plays a critical role in ensuring accurate contract processing, billing, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers and vendors with deliveries, supply sales, and general inquiries
• Process sales packets and create customer, equipment, and contract records for assigned territories
• Perform daily administrative tasks, including billing audits, contract reviews, and inventory checks
• Generate monthly meter billing reports and obtain meter readings from customers
• Prepare contracts for invoicing and assist in billing accuracy and issue resolution
• Produce monthly contract renewal reports, calculate pricing updates, and submit for approval
• Process various reports, including commissions, territory tracking, trade-ins, and vendor credits
• Answer phone calls and emails, responding to customer inquiries regarding equipment, service, supplies, and billing
• Maintain accurate filing and documentation of sales and service agreements
• Provide backup support for interterritorial processes and internal systems (e.g., Sales Chain)
• Collaborate with team members and assist with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) year of clerical or administrative experience
• Experience using Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Skills & Competencies

• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• High attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to work at a desk using a computer, keyboard, and phone for extended periods (up to 8 hours daily)
• Ability to communicate effectively including clear vision and hearing, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching within an office environment.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, data entry, and operating office equipment.
• Occasional overnight travel for training may be required
