Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Receiving Coordinator to support a large-scale construction project in Santa Teresa, NM. This position focuses on material verification, inspection, documentation, and reporting to ensure all incoming project materials match purchase orders, packing lists, and project specifications.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with experience in materials receiving, logistics, warehouse documentation, construction support, inventory verification, or QA/QC who enjoy working in structured, process-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

Material Receiving & Verification

• Coordinate scheduled material deliveries with suppliers and site personnel.
• Verify incoming materials against packing lists, purchase orders, and project documentation.
• Inspect materials for quantity, labeling, specifications, and condition.
• Identify damaged or non-conforming materials and report discrepancies.

Documentation & Reporting

• Complete material receiving forms, logs, and inspection reports accurately.
• Capture photo documentation of deliveries for audit and traceability purposes.
• Enter receiving information into ACC or similar tracking systems.
• Maintain organized documentation in accordance with project procedures.

Quality & Compliance

• Follow all site safety policies during receiving activities.
• Support QA/QC initiatives through accurate verification and documentation.
• Escalate discrepancies according to established quality procedures.
• Maintain records for audits, inspections, and project closeout.

Site Coordination

• Coordinate with field teams to ensure proper storage and labeling of materials.
• Communicate with vendors, logistics providers, and project personnel regarding delivery issues.
• Maintain accurate receiving records to support overall project operations.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
• • Materials Receiving
  • Logistics
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Construction Support
  • Inventory Control
  • Project-Based Material Coordination
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience working with documentation-heavy processes.
• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with:

• Quality Assurance (QA)
• Quality Control (QC)
• Construction documentation
• Industrial or manufacturing environments
• Material tracking systems such as ACC or similar software

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to inspect materials, labels, and documentation accurately.
• Comfortable working on active construction and industrial job sites.

Work Environment

• Construction trailer office and outdoor project site.
• Material inspections performed during deliveries from trucks and suppliers.
• This role focuses on verification and documentation only and does not require operating equipment or moving materials.

• Contract Position with potential extension based on project needs and performance.
• No planned permanent conversion.
