Brunch Server

Gustazo | Front of House

Gustazo is looking for an energetic, friendly, and hospitality-focused Brunch Server to join our team. Our servers are responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest while providing knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide professional, attentive service throughout their meal.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Have a strong knowledge of the brunch menu, ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
• Make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations based on guests' preferences.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of our cocktail, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverage offerings.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately.
• Monitor tables throughout the meal and anticipate guests' needs.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with the kitchen, bar, hosts, and other members of the service team.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set tables and service areas.
• Handle payments accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all restaurant, food-safety, and alcohol-service policies.
• Assist fellow team members when needed and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout every shift.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience preferred; brunch or high-volume restaurant experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and organized in a busy environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and genuine interest in hospitality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable learning and discussing food, cocktails, wine, and spirits.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry food and beverage trays as needed.
• Must be available for weekend brunch shifts.
