High School Internship – Economics Research The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis is offering a high‑school internship in its Research Department. The internship is designed for current high‑school students with a strong interest in economics who have completed or intend to complete economics coursework and are working toward a high‑school diploma. Responsibilities Assist a research economist with statistical analysis, literature reviews, library research, and data entry. Participate in ongoing economic research discussions and attend Research Department seminars. Support project tasks as assigned by the supervising economist. Requirements High‑school student with completed or ongoing economics coursework. Demonstrated progress toward a high‑school diploma. Schedule & Compensation 6–10 hours per week (Mon–Fri during business hours). 100% on‑site at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Internship term: September2026 – May2027. Hourly pay: $17.00.
