Caregiver Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Workers to provide exceptional in-home care to our clients in Clinton Township, MI. As a Caregiver Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily living activities and overall well-being of individuals who need assistance, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
Help with mobility, transferring, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring dietary needs.
Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and shopping.
Report any changes in the client's health, behavior, or environment to supervisors.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by medical professionals and family members.
Maintain client confidentiality and respect their privacy at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving or related field is an asset but not required.
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients and their families.
Reliable transportation to travel to client locations in Clinton Township, MI.
Ability to pass background checks and health screenings as per company policy.
Basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures.
Physical capability to assist clients with mobility and perform light housekeeping duties.
