RN - Float-Pool

Registered Nurse - Float ER, Med Surg, ICU

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights, 12-hour shifts.

The Registered Nurse will provide direct and indirect patient care, maintaining effective communication with physicians, nurse managers, and co-workers regarding changes in the patient's clinical condition. The role requires the ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment responses, perform general nursing duties, and assume responsibility for unit patient populations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills for efficient interaction with all customers.
• Work independently while appropriately delegating tasks.
• Function effectively in unexpected crises with calm and confidence.
• Adjust schedule as needed to meet unit demands, including floating to and working in other areas.
• Maintain adherence to all staffing and personnel policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1 year of experience in Emergency Department, ICU, and Med Surg required.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• If COVID vaccinated, provide vaccination card.
