Description: 

Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, and coating activities on composite, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and avionics-related components. Support manufacturing operations by working from established drawings and requirements on articles of moderate complexity.

#Education & Job Requirements

*High School Diploma or GED equivalent
*Willingness to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed
*Able to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
*Able to lift/carry up to 35 lbs

#Preferred Skills

*1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
*3+ months of experience in Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
*Experience with managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data
*Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools)

#Job Duties & Functions

*Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks
*Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components
*Install and assemble wire harnesses and avionics products
*Perform basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation
*Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements
*Work on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements
