A leading precision manufacturing company in Georgetown is seeking a 2nd Shift Polisher to join its production team. This position is responsible for polishing and finishing metal components to meet strict quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule: M-FRIDAY, 3:30PM - 12:00AM overtime maybe required based on production needs

Job Duties

• Polish metal parts and components to remove imperfections and prepare surfaces for final finishing.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and polishing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain proper pressure and technique to ensure product dimensions remain within specifications.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, surface finish, and compliance with production requirements.
• Replace polishing wheels, belts, and other machine consumables as needed.
• Assist with setting up fixtures and tooling to improve production efficiency.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and workplace safety standards.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet daily production goals and on-time delivery.
• Perform other manufacturing and production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous polishing, grinding, deburring, machining, or metal finishing experience is preferred.
• Manufacturing experience is required.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.
