This role maintains the flow of materials, inventory, and shipments to ensure products and supplies are available when needed. This role coordinates transportation, monitors inventory levels, supports warehouse operations. Logistics Coordinator reports directly to the Logistics Supervisor. Position Overview As part of the Logistics Team, the Logistics Associate I plays a critical role in producing high-quality transformers efficiently and safely. This role operates within a dynamic and collaborative manufacturing environment where teamwork, integrity, and respect are highly valued. The Logistics Associate I will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure product quality and adherence to safety standards. Key Responsibilities Logistics workflow * Evaluate incoming orders and organize shipping and receiving activities accordingly
- Help keep operations running smoothly and on schedule
- Maintain knowledge of product specifications and production/logistics
- Fork truck certification
- Observe all safety rules and guidelines
- Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure orders are completed on time
- Communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, and team members
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift duties each day
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for line tasks and packing duties.
- Ability to move within the production area to communicate with other team
- Technical Skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as a
- Knowledge of dispensing machine operations and equipment maintenance.
- Core Competencies
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure timely
- Certified safety glasses or side shields for prescription glasses.
- Nitrile gloves for handling chemicals.
- Anti-slip, steel-toed shoes are mandatory.
- Rubber (anti-fatigue) mats are provided for each workstation.
