Project Manager - PLM

The PLM Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Product Lifecycle Management initiatives with a strong focus on PTC Windchill . This role will partner with business, engineering, IT, and vendor teams to drive Windchill implementation, enhancement, integration, and adoption across product development and manufacturing functions. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end Windchill PLM projects, including project planning, scope, timeline, budget, resource coordination, risk tracking, and status reporting. Work with business stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into project plans and delivery roadmaps. Manage Windchill implementation and enhancement activities across modules such as PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink, change management, BOM/product structure, and document management. Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, IT, and external implementation partners. Oversee system integration efforts between Windchill and enterprise platforms such as CAD, ERP, MES, and related engineering systems. Support data migration strategy, testing cycles, cutover planning, user training, and post-go-live stabilization. Track project health through governance meetings, milestone reviews, issue logs, and executive-level communication. Drive change management and user adoption by aligning process improvements with business goals and ensuring documentation and training readiness. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field. 7+ years of project or program management experience, with at least 3+ years working on PTC Windchill PLM initiatives. Hands-on experience managing PLM implementation, upgrade, migration, or optimization projects. Strong understanding of PLM processes such as product data management, engineering change management, release management, product structure/BOM, and new product introduction. Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, planning, and risk management skills. Preferred Qualifications PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification. Experience with Windchill modules such as PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink, or QMS. Experience with CAD-to-PLM and PLM-to-ERP integrations, especially in manufacturing or product engineering environments. Familiarity with data migration, solution blueprinting, testing strategy, and enterprise change management. Prior experience in manufacturing, automotive, medical devices, aerospace, or industrial product environments. Preferred Skills Windchill project planning and governance.
