Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room travel assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. The start date is 09/21/2026 for a 13-week contract in a hospital ER setting. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on admission using interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab results, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement a written care plan under physician direction; administer medications, monitor responses, manage IV therapy, and adjust care as needed.
- Deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity ER, including triage, continuous monitoring, rapid assessment, and timely escalation of changes in patient condition.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record; communicate clearly with the care team while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to coordinate care, stabilize patients, and support discharge planning and patient education.
- Uphold patient safety and infection control standards, participate in quality improvement activities, and ensure appropriate escalation of clinical concerns.

Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN license or eligibility to obtain NH RN license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification required.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience: Clinical experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER setting and adapt to a 7:00 pm–7:00 am night shift; travel assignment eligibility.
