Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Salem, Massachusetts. This position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy 65-bed emergency department. The role requires assessment, patient education, and critical thinking skills to support a diverse patient population. Job Details: Position Description: Emergency Department RN - 36 or 48 hours per week, primarily night shifts with weekend rotations. Required Qualifications: Active license or certification verification; professional references; CPR/BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; minimum 2 years of emergency nursing experience; applicable education or degree requirements; experience in general ED nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education. Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: Floating to ED Observation, Acute Medical Unit (AMU), and ED Psychiatric Observation areas may be required. Roster includes rotating shifts when requested, with low frequency of rotation.
