Phlebotomist 1Inova Blood Donor Services is looking for a dedicated Phlebotomist 1 to join the team! This role will be a full-time position. Day varies and located in Sterling, VA. This role requires balancing productivity, customer service, and compliance to ensure the integrity of the collection process and donor experience.Scheduling:Sunday through Saturday, days/evenings/nights, on-call shifts (sixth) all team member rotations. Maybe as early as 5am. Could be as late as 11pm (other exceptions). All hands-on deck requirements/special events require limitations on approved time off requests. All team members are required to work four weekend shifts not limited to four due to all hands-on deck/event days. Demonstrates familiarity with Inova Health System's Quality Plan including training, materials management, error prevention, quality control, quality assurance, and quality management.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.Years of Experience: no experience required.Certification: BLS within 3 months of hire.Preferred Qualifications:Previous lab processing experience preferred.About UsWe are Inova, Northern Virginia's leading nonprofit healthcare provider.
