We’re looking for a motivated Weld Helper to join our team. This role supports welders in fabricating and assembling metal structures and components. Ideal candidates will be dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn a skilled trade.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Assist welders with setup and cleanup of work areas
• Prepare materials for welding (cutting, grinding, cleaning)
• Operate basic hand and power tools
• Move and position materials using hoists or other equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Perform other tasks as needed to support the welding team

 

 

Requirements:

 

• Previous experience in a shop or construction environment preferred
• Basic or Entry Level Welding Knowledge/Education
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to follow safety protocols
• Reliable transportation and good attendance
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Inter/Intra state travel
• heavy equipment operator (forklift, telehandler, man lift) certifications not required but preferred
