Transplant Coordinator RN at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Orange in Orange, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Da y shifts.

Under the direction of the Department Manager of the Renal Center and Renal Transplant Medical Director, the Transplant Coordinator provides professional direct and indirect multi-problem nursing care for a selected population of transplant candidates, recipients, and living donors; serves as coordinator between patients, hospital staff, community physicians, and the transplant center; does related work as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a school of nursing ,or current enrollment in an accelerated program leading to a BSN or MSN degree.
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• 1 year Nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• upon hire: Certification CCTC or CCTN through the American Board of Transplant Coordinators
• 1 year organ transplant or procurement experience.
• Knowledge and abilities of Staff RN II category; advanced nursing theory and practice in the area of transplantation in particular.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
