We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a 90-year-old female client who lives alone. The client is bedbound and requires assistance with personal care, mobility-related support, and colostomy bag care. We are looking for someone who is patient, attentive, and committed to delivering high-quality care.

SCHEDULE

Days: Monday through Sunday

Shift Times (Split Shift):

• 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM
• 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

**APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A DRIVER'S LICENSE AND A RELIABLE VEHICLE TO BE CONSIDERED**

CLIENT CARE NEEDS

• Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and personal care.
• Colostomy bag care and monitoring.
• Repositioning and pressure-relief assistance for a bedbound client.
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence care as needed.
• Meal planning, preparation, and feeding assistance.
• Medication reminders (if applicable).
• Emotional support, companionship, conversation, and engagement.
• Observation and reporting of changes in the client's condition.
• Maintenance of appropriate agency records.
• Present and conduct themselves in a professional manner according to agency policy.
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures in accordance with agency standards.

HOUSEHOLD MANAGEMENT

• Light housekeeping, including changing bed linens, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and maintaining a clean client environment.
• Bathroom cleaning, including sink, toilet, and bathtub maintenance.
• Kitchen cleaning, including dishes, countertops, and floors.
• Personal laundry for the client only.
• Grocery shopping and errands as needed.
• Other duties as mutually agreed upon by the client, caregiver, and agency.

Requirements:

IDEAL CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience caring for elderly clients.
• Experience working with bedbound clients preferred.
• Experience with colostomy bag care strongly preferred.
• Compassionate, dependable, patient, and attentive to detail.
• Excellent communication and caregiving skills.
• Ability to work independently while providing safe, high-quality care.
• A passion for serving others and helping clients live their best lives possible.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Previous experience as an in-home caregiver or facility caregiver for seniors.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• CNA certification is a plus.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Negative TB (PPD) test results or chest X-ray required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Physical, visual, and hearing abilities sufficient to meet the supervisory and personal care needs of clients.
