We're looking for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Installer who takes pride in quality workmanship and can confidently handle refrigeration installations, equipment change-outs, and system upgrades.What You'll DoAs a Commercial Refrigeration Installer, you'll work on commercial refrigeration projects including walk-in coolers and freezers, condensing units, compressors, evaporators, and related systems.Install commercial refrigeration systems and equipmentInstall condensing units, compressors, evaporators, and associated componentsRun refrigeration piping, including suction, liquid, and discharge linesBraze, solder, pressure test, and prepare refrigeration piping for operationInstall pipe supports, hangers, and insulationInstall walk-in coolers, freezers, refrigeration panels, and ice machinesPerform equipment change-outs, retrofits, and mechanical upgradesRead and interpret refrigeration drawings, blueprints, and specificationsWork with copper piping and various commercial refrigeration installation methodsPerform basic carpentry associated with refrigeration panel installationFollow OSHA requirements and company safety proceduresCoordinate with project teams to complete installations safely and on scheduleWhat We're Looking ForPrevious commercial refrigeration installation experienceEPA Certification requiredHigh school diploma or GEDExperience with refrigeration piping, brazing, soldering, and pressure testingKnowledge of condensing units, compressors, evaporators, and refrigeration componentsAbility to read refrigeration drawings and blueprintsExperience with walk-in cooler and freezer installation preferredStrong mechanical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of an installation teamStrong attention to safety and quality workmanshipValid driver's licensePhysical RequirementsThis is a hands-on field position requiring the ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, lift, carry, push, and pull; work from ladders or elevated areas; handle tools, equipment, piping, and refrigeration panels; and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.Compensation & BenefitsMr. C Refrigeration offers competitive compensation along with opportunities to increase your earnings through overtime, commission, and on-call work.$30–$50/hour, based on experience and license levelOvertime eligibleCommission opportunitiesOn-call payWeekly pay via direct deposit40 hours (1 week) of PTOPaid holidays beginning on your first day of employmentAccess to company-sponsored group insurance and benefit plans401(k) eligibilityBenefits eligibility begins the first of the month following 30 days of serviceOngoing training and developmentEstablished commercial refrigeration operation with support from an experienced teamOpportunities for continued career and technical growthIf you're an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Installer who knows how to pipe, braze, install equipment, read prints, and get the job done right, we'd like to hear from you.
