Java Developer Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Interview Mode: Face-to-Face Required Rate: DOE Job Summary: We are seeking a strong Java Developer with hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring, and distributed data processing technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong object-oriented design skills, experience building multi-threaded applications, and the ability to work with large-scale relational databases. This role involves working in a global Agile team to design and develop scalable server-side applications and data pipelines. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Core Java and Spring framework Build and optimize distributed data processing pipelines using Apache Spark, Hive, and Python Develop scalable and high-performance multi-threaded applications Apply strong object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and data structures Write efficient SQL queries and optimize performance for large relational databases Create and maintain unit test cases using JUnit Develop scripts using Shell, Python, or Perl for automation and data processing Participate in Agile development lifecycle including sprint planning, standups, and code reviews Collaborate with global teams and communicate technical solutions clearly Follow coding standards, best practices, and documentation guidelines Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Java (server-side development) Strong experience with Spring Framework Experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing Strong knowledge of RDBMS and relational data modeling Experience querying large relational databases with performance optimization Solid understanding of multi-threading and Java concurrency packages Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns Experience writing unit tests using JUnit Scripting experience in Shell, Python, or Perl Agile development experience Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Georgia IT Inc
