Forklift Operator

Our client, a leader in heavy industrial operations, is seeking a Forklift Driver on 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Forklift Driver , you will be part of the logistics department supporting warehouse and material handling teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Driver - 2nd Shift

Location: Altavista, VA

Pay Range:$16.55 an hour

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Operate gasoline, diesel, electric, or propane-powered industrial trucks equipped with lifting devices such as forklifts, elevating platforms, or buckets.

• Assist in loading, moving, and organizing materials within the warehouse or industrial site.

• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all material handling activities.

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.

• Support team efforts to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

What's Needed?

• 1 year of previous experience operating industrial trucks.

• Ability to pass background check, urine drug screen, and education verification.

• Strong attention to safety and detail.

• Reliable and punctual with a team-oriented mindset.
