RemX is seeking a Customer Care & Technical Support Representatives to join our clients growing team. This role combines exceptional customer service with technical troubleshooting support, helping customers resolve product concerns, understand equipment operation, and navigate warranty and service-related inquiries.

This is not a traditional customer service position. Successful candidates will have a strong desire to help others, an aptitude for learning technical concepts, and the ability to confidently guide customers through solutions. Representatives play a critical role in delivering a positive customer experience and supporting customers during urgent equipment-related situations.

• Title: Call Center Customer Support Specialist
• Location: Columbus, OH
• Pay: $19-$20/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound and outbound customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist customers with product operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, warranty claims, and service requests.
• Guide customers through troubleshooting steps to identify and resolve common equipment issues.
• Provide clear and accurate information regarding products, policies, and processes.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism while handling challenging customer situations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of customer interactions and case activity within company systems.
• Follow up on open customer issues to ensure successful resolution.
• Escalate complex technical concerns to the appropriate support teams.
• Collaborate with internal departments to provide effective solutions and exceptional service.
• Meet established quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals.
• Continuously develop product and technical knowledge through ongoing training.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and active listening abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in high-pressure situations.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn multiple systems and applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing accurate information.

Preferred

• Previous customer service, call center, technical support, or help desk experience.
• Mechanical aptitude or interest in learning technical equipment and troubleshooting processes.
• Experience supporting consumer products, equipment, appliances, automotive products, or technology.
• Experience using CRM platforms and customer management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and explain technical concepts to customers.
