Job Full Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician for a manufacturing opportunity. This position is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should be confident identifying quality concerns, documenting findings, and communicating effectively with production team members.
Experience with micrometers, gages, blueprint reading, quality inspection, SPC, CPK, or manufacturing quality systems is a plus. Roanoke, VA

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Perform visual inspections and precision measurement testing
- Use micrometers, microscopes, gages, vision inspection equipment, and other inspection systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, instructions, and quality check sheets
- Document inspection results accurately in an ERP/quality system
- Identify and document non-conforming products
- Communicate quality concerns and necessary adjustments to production
- Assist with corrective actions and root cause analysis
- Support quality audits and gage calibration activities
- Perform inventory and dock audits to verify accuracy
- Use basic SPC, trending, and CPK knowledge to identify potential quality issues
- Maintain inspection and measurement equipment
- Follow established safety procedures and quality standards
- Assist with labeling and packaging finished products as needed
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, or related manufacturing quality experience preferred
- Experience with precision measurement and inspection equipment
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable entering and maintaining inspection data electronically
