Aerial Laborer

Overview Join to apply for the Aerial Laborer role at Ervin Cable Construction LLC . At Ervin Cable Construction, as a Aerial Laborer , you’ll support an Aerial Telecom Crew with the installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials. Responsibilities Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed Ensure that door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed Perform work in all weather conditions Qualifications To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience Valid state driver\'s license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record Certified pole climber or be willing to become certified Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus Physical abilities & exposures Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and in remote locations, climb stairs, bend, stoop, stand, walk and lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle & heavy machinery Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse What You’ll Get Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at no additional cost Medical Plans Dental and Vision Plans Flexible Spending Accounts and self-contributed HAS Education/Tuition Reimbursement Short and Long Term Disability Provided Life Insurance and AD&D 401k Retirement Savings w/ Company Match Stock Purchase Plan Company Discounts Legal Insurance Paid Time Off and Holidays Paid Family Leave Company vehicle and gas card (Depending on job function) About the Company We are a company united in our vision of connecting America.
