About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Transit-Rail Division Manager to lead the growth, strategy, and profitability of its services in the West Coast region. The successful candidate will be a key part of the senior leadership team, with full responsibility for the division's operations and people management. This role requires an industry leader with existing relationships at key transit agencies, particularly in Washington and California. The Division Manager will be expected to provide leadership in various areas, including account management, business development, capture management, and project delivery. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of building and leading a high-performing team, and will have a proven track record in winning work and running a profitable business. Applicants for the Vice President, Transit-Rail Division Manager position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years' of related experience, with at least 4 years' in a leadership role managing large teams. A background in the Transit-Rail sector, with a focus on planning, engineering, design, and program and construction management, is essential. The role demands a professional with a strong business development background, including experience in capture and account management. The candidate should be a team-oriented individual, capable of working with minimal supervision, and have the ability to communicate effectively to inspire and lead others. A Registered Civil Engineer status in California or Washington, a graduate degree in engineering or a related field, and the ability to mentor technical staff are preferred qualifications.
