Senior ParalegalThe Senior Paralegal performs a variety of specialized, articulate, and administrative support duties for multiple Attorney's and manages the clerical operations of complex prelitigation personal injury cases.Position Responsibilities:Case Management Investigation of all insurance coverages available to the clientObtaining, reviewing, and organizing medical records to complete a treatment outlinePreparing, calculating, and maintaining damage summaries including medical expenses, lost wages, and property damageLogging daily mail and drafting any correspondence necessary in the day-to-day case managementPreparation of file for litigation transfer when necessarySubmissions Preparing and forwarding medical specials to insurance carriers with demand summaryMeeting and exceeding goals setCommunication Corresponding with clients, Attorney and insurance adjusters regarding case statusConsistent client contactsWeekly reportsMonthly team meetingsMaintain professional interactions, internally and externallyRequirements:Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task while maintaining organizationAbility to exercise patience and professionalism in dealing with difficult clients and providersStrong working knowledge of MS Office, and the ability to operate standard office equipmentMust work well in a team atmosphereMust maintain excellent attendance and punctualityHigh command of English grammar, usage, punctuation, and spelling as well as use of computers and related applicationsEducation:· High School Diploma/ GED required· Three to five years' relevant work experience preferred· Prefer Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificatePhysical Requirements:· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.· This job operates in a professional office environment. Exposure to computer screens and low level of noise.
