Develops designs for the installation of components and assembliesinto chassis, racks, cabinets,workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters. Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met. Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.• Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems using various tools and techniques, such as fault analysis, signal tracing, and debugging.• Repair or replace faulty components, such as circuit boards, power supplies, or mechanical parts.• Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, calibration, and testing, to prevent future hardware failures• Collaborate with other engineers, technicians, or manufacturers to resolve complex hardware issues or to design and implement repairs.• Develop and implement repair procedures, protocols, and standards to ensure efficient and effective hardware maintenance.• Conduct root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of hardware failures and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.• Maintain accurate records of repairs, including documentation of faults, repairs, and test results.Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related STEM discipline• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree• Experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF equipment, and other lab/test equipment• Experience building custom cable assemblies• Ability to work independently with minimal direction and exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and approaches• Prior experience managing labs and lab equipment with complex electronics systems• Track record of hands on experienceDesired Skills• Hardware troubleshooting and repair experience in lab, depot, and production environments• Solder experience• The ability to effectively communicate intricate technical details• An internal drive and desire to figure out and solve problems• Experience in the design, development, and production phases of a contract• Experience working across multiple disciplines• Familiarity with ISO/AS quality principles/practicesPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
