Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Portland, ME
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR role that provides regular home time and minimal physical strain? At American Trucking Group, we offer dry van routes throughout the Northeast, ensuring you have excellent equipment and competitive compensation.
Home Time:
- Home weekly for a 34-hour reset.
- Our OTR routes are crafted to ensure you get steady miles while keeping your family commitments on track.
Equipment:
- Drive modern International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for efficient heating and cooling.
- Take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided you have safe parking.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily handle dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- This means less physical work, allowing you to concentrate on driving and maximizing your efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers typically earn between $1,000 to $1,450 weekly based on mileage and performance.
- Additional pay includes detention based on customer policies, $12 per hour layover pay, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Covering Northeast regional routes from Maine to Virginia, with all tolls taken care of through EZ Pass and toll cards.
