We are looking for applicants who are responsible, hardworking, and who can pay attention to the details as they apply to high quality landscaping. This position will work all around the resort, carrying out different tasks and projects as directed by the Landscaping Manager. Applicants must be reliable, punctual, enjoy working outdoors, and must follow policies and procedures to ensure the safety of the team. This position may require a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Base Pay: Starts at $17/hr Employee Type: Hourly, non-exempt Job Category: Full time, Seasonal Leadership Responsibilities: No Required Certs or Licenses: Driver’s License Attendance: Regular, predictable, punctual, and in-person attendance is essential, includes weekends and holidays as scheduled Estimated start date: Now hiring Typical Shift: 7am-3:30pm Environment: This is an outdoor position and applicants can expect to work long hours in variable weather conditions while performing heavy work (must be able to lift/move up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 25 pounds constantly) Experience: We are looking for applicants who have landscaping experience with a strong work ethic. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Lifts and moves landscaping materials including plants, dirt, rock, boulders Plants and maintains flowerbeds and other plants Pulls weeds and picks up trash around the resort Operates irrigation system under direction of Irrigation Tech Operates lawnmowers to maintain grass levels Applies grass seed mixtures Assists Irrigation Tech, Horticulturist and Gardener Completes other daily landscaping projects as assigned Takes direction from the Landscaping Manager (other duties may be assigned) About Angel Fire Resort Angel Fire Resort is a top year-round mountain resort destination in New Mexico.
