Job Summary:

The Senior Data Analyst, Operational Analytics & Reporting (OAR), partners with stakeholders across IQVIA Laboratories to deliver reporting, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that improve operational performance and business outcomes. This role combines technical expertise, business engagement, and continuous improvement to transform how operational insights are generated, accessed, and utilized.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance operational reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions that support laboratory operations
• Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and data solutions that drive decision-making
• Analyze operational performance trends and deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders
• Design and implement automated reporting processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Support the adoption of AI-enabled tools, including Microsoft Copilot and intelligent automation technologies
• Partner with cross-functional teams across Central Labs, Specialty Labs, Quality, Clinical Logistics, and Biosciences to address business challenges
• Promote data governance, reporting standards, and documentation best practices
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve operational performance
  

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, data management, information systems, statistics, or a related operational discipline
• Years of experience in relevant fields: Experience developing analytical solutions within a business environment
• Strong experience using SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting
• Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms to develop reports and dashboards
• Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and business curiosity with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a continuous improvement mindset
• Collaborative approach with strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Adaptability, learning agility, and enthusiasm for adopting emerging technologies and innovative solutions
• Experience in laboratory, healthcare, clinical research, or operational environments preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks, Power Query, DAX, data modeling, workflow automation, AI tools, chatbot technologies, and reporting lifecycle management preferred

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $62,900.00 - $131,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
