Quality Inspector - Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Position Overvie w Flowtec is partnered with a well-established manufacturing company specializing in engineered equipment for marine, offshore, and industrial markets. This Quality Inspector role covers incoming, in-process, and final inspection across machining, assembly, and repair operations, with excellent work-life balance in a streamlined environment. About the Comp any Small, privately-owned engineering and manufacturing com panyNearly 100 years in opera tionISO certified with experienced engineering teamStrong government contract portf olioFlat organizational structure with minimal bureauc racy Key Responsibil ities Insp ectionPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of precision machined components and pump asse mbliesDimensional inspection using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and indi catorsProgram and operate CMM equipment for complex part verifi cationComplete first article inspections on new and repaired comp onents Quality Systems & Docume ntationInterpret engineering drawings and apply G D&TMaintain inspection records within the ISO quality systemWrite non-conformance reports and support root cause and corrective actionSupport government source inspections and customer auditsMaintain the gauge calibration program Cross-Functio nal WorkWork with machinists, assemblers, and engineering to resolve qualit y issuesSupport disposition of non-conforming materialPerform receiving inspection on suppli er parts Required Quali fications 5+ years of quality inspection in a precision machining or manufacturing e nvironmentCMM experience (programming strongly preferred)Strong blueprint reading and GD&T p roficiencyHands-on with precision measurement i nstrumentsExperience working within ISO 9001 quality systems; military or government spec experie nce a plusPump or rotating equipment component experience preferredComfortable in a machine shop e p; Benefits Up to $40/hour, based o fits packageBetter work-life balance than large #J-18808-Ljbffr
