Job Description Business Analyst (Retail Energy) Location: Houston, Texas (hybrid) | Type: Full Time Additional phases of work are coming up, so this need is live and ongoing. About the Role You'll support retail energy clients by connecting business needs to technology solutions. The work centers on shaping strategy, gathering requirements, and delivering consulting outcomes that improve operational efficiency and support transformation initiatives. This role needs someone who has worked inside retail energy operations and can walk into a client workshop speaking billing, CIS, and EDI fluently. Responsibilities Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and analysis to gather and document business requirements Develop business requirement documents, user stories, and functional specifications Analyze current and future state processes, then identify opportunities for improvement Create process models, data models, and business architecture documentation Produce clear deliverables, including reports, presentations, and proposals Qualifications Experience as a Business Analyst within retail energy, including areas such as billing, CIS, EDI, and customer care Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications Experience producing structured consulting deliverables and documentation Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, or Technology Preferred Experience within a management consulting environment Exposure to wholesale energy, settlements, or trading Familiarity with project delivery methodologies and lifecycle management Experience contributing to business cases, proposals, or pre-sales activities Basic scripting or technical understanding that supports system analysis #J-18808-Ljbffr Elios AI
