Senior Research Associate

Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Senior Research Associate. Position type: Full-time- Contract Duration: 12 Months. Location: San Diego, CA. Job Responsibilities Develop and implement cell-based assays to support the identification, optimization, and characterization of novel compounds. Develop and construct cell lines and tools for mechanism of action (MoA) studies. Design and execute experiments using expertise in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry and assay development to support MoA studies. Execute routine assays in a consistent and timely manner. Document, analyze, and present data in an organized and timely manner. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in biology or related disciplines with 2+ year of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 1+ year of experience. Excellent sterile technique in mammalian cell culture with at least 1 year of experience is required. Experience with transfection, lentiviral transduction, CRISPR knockouts, and shRNA knockdowns is a plus.
