Hotel Front Desk Night Auditor

We are seeking a dependable and service-oriented Part-Time Night Auditor / Front Desk Agent to join our team. This overnight position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while delivering exceptional hospitality. As the Night Auditor, you'll ensure our guests receive outstanding service throughout the night while balancing daily financial transactions and preparing the hotel for a successful new day. What You'll Do: • Welcome guests with friendly, professional service during overnight hours • Complete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns with a "Make It Right" service mindset • Balance daily revenue, reconcile guest accounts, and complete the nightly audit process • Prepare reports and ensure all financial transactions are accurate • Answer phone calls, make reservations, and assist guests with questions or special requests • Perform routine security walks and help maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment • Communicate important information to the morning team to ensure a smooth shift transition • Help ensure public areas are clean and ready for guests • Assist breakfast staff where needed with setup and food prep • Uphold Hilton brand standards and provide an exceptional guest experience What We're Looking For: • Excellent customer service and communication skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Basic bookkeeping, cash handling, or accounting experience preferred • Comfortable working independently and making sound decisions • Computer proficiency and the ability to learn hotel management software • Reliable, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional hospitality Position Details: • Part-time overnight position • Overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed • Flexible scheduling based on business needs • Opportunities for cross-training and crossover into other hotel departments based on interest and business needs • Supportive team environment with opportunities for growth within the Hilton family If you're looking for an overnight position where you can combine hospitality with accounting responsibilities while making a meaningful impact on the guest experience, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities: • Ensure all guests feel they are having an exceptional experience at the property • Compile and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel management • Audit and reconcile all financial records such as cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, room charges, final bill preparation, and occupancy percentages • Perform additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as required • Execute front desk clerk duties as required, such as processing reservations and check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed Qualifications: • Excellent customer service and communication skills are required • Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred • Computer proficiency is required; experience with accounting or reservation software is preferred • Experience in the hospitality industry or guest services is preferred, but not required Compensation: $13 - $15 hourly
