The role involves managing biostatisticians, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting regulatory submissions and drug development initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead statistical support and design of clinical trials addressing study objectives for regulatory approval and market access
Provide guidance and management to biostatistical team ensuring quality and timely deliverables
Contribute to Clinical Development Plans, lead submission activities, and post-submission strategies
Present and defend statistical solutions to governance, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
Manage functional or project budget and allocate resources according to project needs

Requirements

PhD with 9+ years or MS with 11+ years in statistics, biostatistics, or related field
Clinical trials and pharmaceutical drug development experience
Proficiency in SAS, R, or Python for statistical analysis and data manipulation
Experience preparing and participating in global regulatory agency interactions
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
At least 3 years management experience (direct or matrix) preferred
Expertise in statistical and clinical trial methodology aligned with regulatory standards
