Receptionist

Receptionist The primary purpose of the Receptionist is to serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, vendors, and other visitors to the facility. They provide administrative support and customer service to help ensure the facility runs smoothly and maintains a warm, welcoming environment. Organization skills, communication skills, ability to exercise good judgement and tact in dealing with visitors, residents, and staff members, problem-solving skills, ability to maintain a calm and professional composure in stressful situations, ability to operate a multi-line phone system, ability to maintain confidential information in accordance with facility and HIPPA privacy rules. Highschool diploma or GED equivalent, previous experience as a receptionist or other related work is preferred. Answering incoming calls, writing down and passing along messages to staff when they are available, inputting door security code to let visitors and staff in and out of the facility, directing visitors to their desired destination, minor housekeeping of the front lobby area, minimal assistance with residents with tasks such as dialing phones, answering questions, opening mail/packages upon request, etc., reporting issues/concerns to management or charge nurses as appropriate, intake and delivery of mail or packages, assisting administrative staff in organizing files or records upon request. Current shift opening: Fridays - Mondays, 7:30am-6pm.
