Role Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HVAC Service Technician who excels at accurate diagnostics, effective communication, and providing outstanding service to our clients. This position goes beyond technical repairs; you will serve as a knowledgeable consultant for homeowners, guiding them toward the best solutions for their home comfort, safety, system efficiency, and overall performance. Key Responsibilities Perform precise repairs and maintenance on residential heating and cooling units to ensure optimal system functionality. Clearly articulate technical issues and repair solutions to homeowners to help them make informed decisions. Provide educational insights to clients regarding their system's energy efficiency, air quality, and maintenance needs. Foster lasting customer loyalty by delivering a high-quality, professional service experience in every home. Adhere to all safety protocols and company service standards while documenting work accurately in ServiceTitan. Ensure a professional appearance and maintain the highest level of respect for every client's property. Take responsibility for the upkeep of your assigned service vehicle, tools, and inventory. Engage in regular training sessions to enhance your technical, sales, and service capabilities. Contribute to a collaborative team environment while taking full accountability for your individual performance outcomes. Candidate Requirements At least two years of experience in residential HVAC service, though apprentices with solid technical foundations are encouraged to apply. Must hold a valid EPA Certification (Type II or Universal). Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and solve problems effectively. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to homeowners. A professional attitude that prioritizes the customer's needs and satisfaction. A growth-oriented mindset that is receptive to coaching and team collaboration. Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving history. Physical capability to lift over 50 pounds and navigate tight spaces like attics, basements, and crawl spaces. A commitment to precision and a sense of pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
