About This Role
We're seeking an exceptional Lead Teacher to bring their passion and expertise to our young learners, fostering a nurturing environment that encourages cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
What You'll DoKey Responsibilities
- Design and execute lesson plans that promote learning through engaging activities and stimulate children's development
- Establish a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages children to thrive
- Track and communicate each child's progress to parents and staff
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that supports learning
- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to support children's growth and development
Qualifications
- Ability to educate and engage young learners in a classroom setting
- Experience in toddler care is required
- Previous Lead Teacher role is required or working with Toddlers aged 18 month to 36 months
- Understanding of child well being and development best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of Creative Curriculum
- A minimum of 3 years experience working with children ages 18 months to 36 months
- Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA in Infants and Toddlers
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Worked in a Licensed by the State of New Jersey Child Care Center
