Your Role in this Vital Position

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become an integral part of our expanding imaging team. With access to leading-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform critical diagnostic procedures, collaborating with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, and ensuring that patients receive timely and accurate imaging for peace of mind.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Conducting diverse ultrasound exams, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritizing patient comfort and safety, clearly explaining procedures with empathy
• Working in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-tier diagnostic images
• Operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment, quickly addressing any malfunctions
• Thoroughly documenting procedures and managing patient records within our electronic medical system
• Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging and best practices

Education and Certifications Required

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred: Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
