Physical Therapist PRN

Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive physical therapy services to patients, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, and discharge planning. The therapist collaborates with healthcare teams, documents patient progress, and participates in program development to meet clinical goals. Key Responsibilities: Conduct evaluations by reviewing patient histories, performing assessments, and explaining findings to patients and families, involving them in goal setting. Implement treatment protocols based on assessment results, monitor patient progress, and modify care plans as needed, consulting with other professionals when necessary. Complete discharge planning and follow-up, ensuring accurate documentation of care activities, progress, and outcomes. Manage time effectively to meet productivity standards, demonstrate flexibility, and provide empathetic, patient-centered care. Pursue ongoing professional development, serve as a clinical instructor, and mentor new staff, students, and volunteers. Qualifications: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program. Licensure in applicable states (MD, DC, VA) as required.
