Ventilator Patient Specialist - Home Healthcare in Southborough, MA

• License/Certs: Valid respiratory or nursing license (RRT, RN preferred)
• Experience: Home respiratory care or hospital experience preferred

Pay & Benefits:

What You'll Do:

• Manage a patient caseload in home healthcare settings, focusing on ventilated pediatric and adult patients
• Provide patient and caregiver education on respiratory equipment and care
• Set up and troubleshoot advanced respiratory and ventilation equipment
• Monitor patient status and adjust care plans as needed
• Maintain detailed documentation of services and patient progress in compliance with policies
• Participate in on-call duties as scheduled, providing phone consultations outside of regular hours
• Support onboarding and training of new team members

What You Need:

Required:

• Valid respiratory or nursing license (RRT, RN, CRT accepted depending on state laws)
• Pediatric and/or ALS ventilation experience
• Proficiency with medical equipment and software (Care Orchestrator, Astral, etc.)
• Strong communication skills (oral and written) in English
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Preferred:

• Home health or hospital experience in respiratory care
• Additional state licensure in neighboring states
• Deductive problem-solving skills and independence
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail

About the Assignment:

This position involves managing ventilator care for pediatric and adult patients within a diverse territory covering Southborough, Holden, Lexington, Sharon, Douglas, and surrounding towns. You will be responsible for technical equipment setup, ongoing patient assessments, and caregiver education, supporting the goal of safe, effective ventilation management in the home setting.
