LOCAL CDL CLASS A DRIVER NEEDED - IMMEDIATE HIRE

Job Description

Local CDL Class A delivery driver responsible for loading and unloading freight using a pallet jack or other powered material handling equipment.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday
Start time: Approximately 7:00 AM
End time: Until route/load is completed
Home daily except when covering as a relief driver (approximately 25% OTR)
Job location: Tempe, AZ

Compensation:

Salaried position: $65,000–$80,000 annually
Salary based on years of hazardous materials driving experience

Responsibilities:

Local LTL deliveries with multiple stops per day
Touch freight with liftgate deliveries
Operate a mixed fleet of automatic transmission trucks with trailers up to 53’

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL
Minimum 1 year of hazardous materials driving experience (required)
Hazmat endorsement
Forklift experience
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Clean background Must be able to pass an extensive background investigation to gain access to defense contractor facilities
